New Features


  • DRIP-FEEDING: A functionality that allows you to deliver content in scheduled parts. For more on drip-feeding a course's content to users, see this article.
  • CMI5 SUPPORT: CMI5 is a brand new e-learning specification that combines SCORM features with the xAPI advantages as a communications protocol to act as a bridge between the Learning Management System and the Learning Record Store.
  • MICRO-STATS: A quick view of valuable information that might call for immediate action. Currently, micro-stats can be viewed on the learner's dashboard and the user/course reports pages. For more on making the most of micro-stats, see this article.
  • CONTENT VERSIONS: You are now allowed to view and restore previous versions of your content as described here.
  • REDESIGNED IMPORT: Our wholly redesigned import functionality allows you to upload and import directly from an EXCEL file.
  • GDPR related changes:
  • User self-deletion: A "Delete my account" option can be found on the user profile page by clicking on the "More" button as described in this article.
  • Custom reports and actions based on whether or not a user has accepted the Terms of Service.
  • Improved automations and custom reporting functionality.

  • RECORD SESSIONS ON BBB: When using your own BBB tool, you can now record your sessions by following these instructions.
  • NOTIFICATIONS: 
  • Added a branch filter to the "X hours since user last signed in" notification.
  • Added two new notifications:
  1. X hours after user creation and the user has not signed in
  2. X hours since user first sign in and the user has not completed any course
    • END-USER LANGUAGE SELF-SELECTION: End-users are now allowed to pick their preferred language for the portal's interface from their profile page as described in this article.

    Improvements:

    • E-COMMERCE:
    • SCORM: 
    • The score for tests inside the SCORM package that are not complete yet, is now updated every time the score for the rest of the questions changes.
    • Added the option to "Reset suspend data" when updating a SCORM unit. That way, you can reset the SCORM suspend data, so that users who have already started the unit can still access it.

    • API: 
    • You can now get a user's test score for each test attempt.
    • Improved the response to the "Get timeline" API call.
    • Added a "Last updated" field for retrieving users.

    • USABILITY IMPROVEMENTS ON COURSE VIEW: You can now sort courses by "Last accessed" and view course categories on "Grid" mode.
    • ADMIN DASHBOARD: The "Quick-info" tab is redesigned.
    • ENFORCE PASSWORD CHANGE: The "Enforce password change" options no longer apply when an administrator logs in as another user. The administrator does not have to change the user's password to proceed.
    • NEW TIMEZONE ADDED: Atlantic time Canada GMT: - 4:00
    • CSS rules are no longer displayed on question lists.
    • CERTIFICATIONS: Added an "Update all" button for certifications inside a course.
    • ACCOUNT OWNER: You are now allowed to set a new account owner and delete the previous one.
    • CONFERENCES: 
    • The duration limit has been increased to 8 hours (except for the integrated BBB).
    • When users join a conference, they are now shown in the conferences grid.

    • ZAPIER: Created a Zapier action to search for user by email.
    • INTEGRATIONS: Added support for Intercom identity verification. For more information, see this article.  
    • USER & COURSE REPORTS: The user and course reports are redesigned to be more visually attractive and provide more information at a glance.
    • UPGRADING: When upgrading to another plan, the feedback now includes more information on subsequent charges.
    • USER PROFILE: For social media sign-ups, when users log in for the first time, they are redirected to the profile page to fill in any additional required information.
    • CUSTOM REPORTS: Added a "Have not completed a course within a period of time" rule.
    • IMPORTING MULTIPLE QUESTIONS: From now on, all imported questions are added to the test.
    • PRINTING TESTS: Images are now included in a printed test.
    • COURSE UPDATES: Every instructor with course-updating permissions can now update the course's image. 
    • COURSE CATALOG: When a parent category is selected on the course catalogue, all child categories are now checked automatically.
    • DISCUSSIONS: Learners can now attach audio and video files to discussions.
    • OPTIMIZATIONS FOR MOBILE & DESKTOP:
    • Image optimization.
    • Browser caching leveraging.
    • Elimination of render-blocking Javascript and CSS in above-the-fold content.
    • Compression enabled.
    • Minified CSS and Javascript.
    Bug Fixes

    • Fixed bug that occasionally prevented scheduled reports from being sent and showed their execution date to be in the past.
    • Fixed bug that affected the "usersignup" API call. When there was a required branch-specific custom field, it returned the error response "Invalid arguments provided", and the user was not created at all.
    • Fixed image-related bug when viewing ILT units on Firefox and Chrome.
    • Fixed bug that prevented a comment inside a discussion unit from being deleted when embedded in iFrame.
    • Fixed bug related to adding users to a branch.
    • Fixed bug causing a user that has been removed from a course to receive an "X hours after course acquisition" notification.
    • Fixed bug that prevented the "X hours since user last signed in" notification from being sent to users without any logins.
    • Fixed bug related to the timer in tests. When a test has a time limit, the test is now submitted automatically. No further action is required from the learner.
    • Fixed bug related to the "userlogout" API call. When SSO is enabled, a user is now redirected to the specified log-out URL upon logging out.
    • Fixed bug related to selecting a tag to filter questions.
    • Fixed bug that caused problems when uploading files to units on MS Edge.
    • Fixed bug that caused an error when users with no profile-updating permissions viewed any profile info.
    • Fixed bug related to the branch reports. It included the archived courses in the assigned courses total on the "Users" tab. 
    • Fixed bug related to the group reports within branches. It included courses completed by a user that is not a member of the group the course is assigned to in the completed courses total on the group reports page's "Overview" tab.
    • Fixed bug that prevented instructors from resetting a unit's progress when the completion option was "with a question".
    • Fixed bug preventing videos with an autoplay option from starting automatically on the Safari browser.
    • Fixed bug causing the "On user create" notification to be sent when mass adding users with an "inactive" status. The notification is now triggered by changing the status to "active".
    • Fixed bug that prevented the pending ILT counter on the dashboard from showing the correct total of pending ILT users.
    • Fixed bug related to issues with the new SCORM, CDN, and branches.
    • Fixed bug causing the admin to view the option to download badges. That option is now displayed in the learner mode only.
    • Fixed bug preventing users from being assigned to a course when signing up via Google.
    • Fixed bug related to category bundles. It caused the "Get all for $$" button to disappear from the course catalog when clicking on the "Return to catalog" button on the course info page.
    • Fixed subscription-related bug when creating a branch via API.
    • Fixed bug causing a cloned branch to have the same Stripe plan as the source branch.
    • Fixed bug that forced a UTC timezone in exported reports regardless of the system's timezone.
    • Fixed infographics-related bug that caused compatibility issues on Chrome.
    • Fixed bug causing branch-specific custom fields not to be exported when exporting to an EXCEL sheet via email.
    • Fixed bug causing delays on automations of the "x hours before/after" type.
