Adding 'Drip' Capabilities for Content
Is there a plan to add 'drip' content capabilities based on a date or elapsed number of days? That would be significant for me. Thanks!

Gradebook
Provide a simple grades matrix for each course & student. Quiz, Test, Assignment, etc. These should also have the option of being weighted...example; the Quiz is worth 30% of total grade, Test is worth 50% , and Assignment is 20%.

Enable "Group owners" with instructor-view privileges for only those within their group
Currently, reporting view is an "all or nothing" controlled by course instructors.
We're receiving increasing requests from customers who want to track their team's progress through a course.
For example, our client company X, Manager A would like to track everyone in their company's progress through a course so that they can follow up with those who are in progress, or haven't yet started.
There's seems to be no way to manage this that I can think of. Granting Manager A instructor-view privileges in the course would allow them to see EVERYONE's progress (for security reasons, we obviously don't want…92 votes -
Instructors grading tests instead of automatic answers
Our organisation would be really interested in the Instructors being able to grade a students work once they have completed the test, not having it pre-marked with automatic answers. We have open ended questions with answers that will often vary so it is not possible to have generated automatic answers.
Using the 'assignments' secton so that Instructors can mark is not feasible when we require our student to complete a test.
Thank you

Notifications by branch
We miss a feature that can allow us to make notifications by branch. We think is important to have a branch by country, and each country has a specific language, for example:
• Portugal -> Portuguese
• Dubai -> English
• Spain -> Spanish
When we are using the same notification (for example, in the event when the course is associated) we should have different languages according to the branch.87 votes -
Fill in the blank: Question type
A fill in the blank question type. Very similar to fill in the gap, but instead having the instructor specify the answer. The student must type in the answer.

"Redo Course" triggered by Learner
We want to give our employees (Learners) the possibility to reset the course on their own once the course is already completed.
To allow this we need an option ("allow Learner to redo the course") in the Authoring area.
In the Learners area we need a function to reset the course to start again from scratch.60 votes -
Allow teachers to hide all subcategory titles in the table of content
Too many subcategories result in a large table of content drop-down menu. It would be nice if the teachers can decide if the drop-down menu contains categories + subcategories, or only categories.

Option to email certificate
The option to email the certificate to an email address supplied by the user (not only their own email address). For example the email address of the HR Department so they can store the certificate in worker's file

Multiple Categories per Course
It would be great if a course coukd be tagged under multiple categories to make it easier to find the right course.
E.g. a course on Leadership could be under a Business & Management category and also under a Soft Skills or Personal Development category.50 votes -
Ability to search for terms inside the course material
This would allow users to search not only the course names and descriptions but also the verbiage contained inside the courses' materials. This functionality would also allow for greater user of the system as a knowledge base source and allows users to quickly research all courses and materials based on keywords.
This would apply if the course was created from a PDF, Word document, PowerPoint and obviously not videos unless a future feature allowed adding captions to videos.

In the "wrong" indicator, rather than a check mark, make the graphic an X.
The graphic that shows the selected incorrect answer when the student fails the test is misleading.
We find the check mark in the answer that the student selected confusing, as a check mark would normally imply a correct choice. Please can it either be changed to an X or something neutral? A check mark should only go beside a correct answer, and an X next to a wrong answer.

Instructors be able to grade work by clicking on 'Grade Tab'
Could Instructors be able to grade work by clicking on a 'Grade Tab' within the course instead of having to click 'submissions' in edit function within the course. Our organisation has branches and within those branches have different instructors. We do not want instructors to have the ability to be able to edit any of the course material however currently for instructors to access the submission button we need to give them access to the edit functions.

TalentLMS Mobile App - notification pop ups
Mobile learning is key, I'm 10 times more likely to look at a notification/message received from my LinkedIn app as opposed to an email alert of the notification/message.
Communication between instructors / learners is vital - when can we see a notification on the TalentLMS mobile app that someone/ a course has sent me a notification/message?

to support adding images in multiple choice answers
1. It is the trend to use images in learning.
2. Many school subjects, such as physics, chemistry, biology, geography, and even math would have high chances of having images in multiple choice answers (in math, a graphic form of x^2 should be much better when presenting in answer field).
3. Without the support of images in answer field, many good assessing questions would be unable to use. The system would look inferior to hard copy version.3.

Add course completion date tag to certificate
We are required to download all certificates issued for recordkeeping purposes, and we have numerous courses that must be retaken periodically by students. Currently the only date tags available to you when designing a certificate are "Issued Date" and "Expiration Date". "Issued Date" is the date the certificate is first awarded, so when the student completes the course again after the certificate expires the "Issued Date" remains the same and only the "Expiration Date" changes. We would like our certificates to also have the latest Course Completion Date on the certificate so it's easy to see when they did the…

Add better content formatting capabilities to the basic content editor
The WYSIWYG-style editing that the content editor provides feels dated, and the formatting possibilities are very limited. A more modern approach would be very welcomed, and would allow us to get a lot more flexibility/usage out of the built-in content creator.
A great example of a solid content editing/formatting system is the one used in Atlassian's Confluence. Anything close to that would be a huge improvement.
