The WYSIWYG-style editing that the content editor provides feels dated, and the formatting possibilities are very limited. A more modern approach would be very welcomed, and would allow us to get a lot more flexibility/usage out of the built-in content creator.
A great example of a solid content editing/formatting system is the one used in Atlassian's Confluence. Anything close to that would be a huge improvement.25 votes
For anyone who commercializes their LMS (in Europe) it is mandatory to know where your users stem from so you can charge the appropiate VAT. Next to user credit card country you need secondary proof such as IP.16 votes
Currently, the only options to force users to change passwords is upon very first login, and then after a set number of days. But often we've found that we have to reset users to the default password to resolve their login challenges. And when that happens, they are allowed to leave it at that default password (not so secure). Would be ideal to be able to force users to change their password after it has been changed to the default by an Admin. Thanks!17 votes
1. It is the trend to use images in learning.
2. Many school subjects, such as physics, chemistry, biology, geography, and even math would have high chances of having images in multiple choice answers (in math, a graphic form of x^2 should be much better when presenting in answer field).
3. Without the support of images in answer field, many good assessing questions would be unable to use. The system would look inferior to hard copy version.
I would like Talent LMS to be able to integrate to Google drive so the instructor or administrator can pull in content from Google Docs, Sheets, Slides or other digitally stored assets in Google Drive.7 votes
Mobile learning is key, I'm 10 times more likely to look at a notification/message received from my LinkedIn app as opposed to an email alert of the notification/message.
Communication between instructors / learners is vital - when can we see a notification on the TalentLMS mobile app that someone/ a course has sent me a notification/message?11 votes
Our users are entered by their email address as we have multiple people who have the same name. When we pull a roster for an ILT, the only identifying information is the user which is their email.
Would be very helpful to also add the users full name.6 votes

I would like TalentLMS to integrate some functionalities to make the campus accessible to people with disabilities. For example tools to read content, visual improvement of pages (simplification, magnifying glass ...), etc.16 votes
ACL staff should review the ACL academy materials to make sure they are accurate. I have found various instances where the material was either unclear as to how to obtain the stated objective, such as when importing print image reports, which required I find third party sources to explain the process in enough detail to achieve the listed objectives, or in instances such as "Practice 4.3 and 4.4" which does not appear to operate as intended based upon the verbatim completion of the instructions. There were also a few instances of the small interim exams not functioning properly. An example includes one exam that asked you to verify the fields with the verify function which returned 5 errors, but the answer was 3 errors according to the exam key. Yet this material was not covered in the section prior to the exam, but rather a subsequent section. This subsequent section clearly stated that the correct number of errors for the file "verify" was instructed to run against was 5. I really appreciate this "academy" being out there to help train in ACL, but it would be greatly appreciated if it functioned as intended.

Allow an option at the beginning of a course to create a pre-test and have it redirect in one of three ways: bypass, passed, failed.
BYPASS=close test and go to course.
PASSED=make current course viewable or proceed to next course.
FAILED=MUST complete current course
The idea here being to assess the learners current level of knowledge and let them get to the info they need quicker.
In other words: if A is PASSED go-to B(next test(2)), if A is FAILED then go-to A1(course1), if A is BYPASS then go-to A1(course1).5 votes

I think you guys should allow the option for us to offer a course at a base price lets say ($500) and in order to keep access to this course and to be able to login and access content to review at any time, pay monthly fee let's say ($15 per monthy) after the alloted time has expired lets say (the base $500 price covers3 months) after the 3 months they should pay to keep access.
This way it alleviates us from taking the burden on paying for monthly user access forever.6 votes
It would be more handy to be able to permanently remove and restore (not permanently) removed users directly from user list. Maybe thorugh a "list mode" selector with choices "active users", "removed users".6 votes
Hello! Please implement the option to set branch Administrators to not be able to see the progress of other Administrators assigned to the same branch. If there are two managers set as Administrators and assigned to the same branch, it would be useful to have a User Type option to not allow Administrators to see each other's training progress. I would like an animation around the points square that attracts the attention of learner each time they gain points.
Maybe something like a ring the circles and glows for a second around the points square.
Or the points that are gained display center screen and then animates to the points square.3 votes
When you delete a user on TalentLMS is is only soft deleted (the best way). However you then can't create the user again as the email is the same. Therefore you must provide a way of reinstating the user via the API.
The current work around suggested is to change the email of the user before they are deleted.1 vote
